ThermaSec is the insulating layer in the system. This is a unique blend of inorganic materials that are bound together by the air lime that produce an insulating layer across the property.
 

ThermaSec needs to be applied by trained and accredited professionals to ensure that the insulation properties are maintained through the application process. This is an area of technical knowledge that is poorly understood across the mainstream construction industry. ThermaSec is either ‘harled on’ – flicked / thrown onto the wall manually, or for larger walls / projects ‘pumped’ onto the wall via specialise Vivus Solutions approved pumps. Standard pumps used in the UK are NOT suitable for this task.
 

ThermaSec needs to be applied to the substrate of the wall, this will mean removing the majority of any existing cement renders that may be blighting the property.
 

ThermaSec is applied in layers, which each one being possible to overlay within 24 hours. This makes installation quick and effective, cutting time on site.
