DiffuSec is the top coat for the Vivus system. It can be used independently of the ThermaSec where drying of the building is the main priority.

DiffuSec needs to be applied by trained and accredited professionals to ensure that the insulation properties are maintained through the application process. This is an area of technical knowledge that is poorly understood across the mainstream construction industry.

 

DiffuSec is either ‘harled on’ – flicked / thrown onto the wall manually, or for larger walls / projects ‘pumped’ onto the wall via specialise Vivus Solutions approved pumps. Standard pumps used in the UK are NOT suitable for this task.

DiffuSec needs to be applied to the substrate of the wall, this will mean removing any existing cement renders that may be blighting the property.

DiffuSec is applied in layers, which each one being possible to overlay within 24 hours. This makes installation quick and effective, cutting time on site.
