ColorSec is a limewash that can be coloured. The standard colours that are available through Vivus are shown on the colour sheet. The use of standardised colours is important for the consistency of colour across the whole building. It should be noted that limewash is darker in appearance when it is wet / damp so there will be natural variation in colour during or after rainfall when the render is drying out. The darker the colour the more pronounced the colour differential.
 

ColorSec works in harmony with DiffuSec due to the aggregates used. It is predicted that most buildings will require a new coating of ColorSec once every 10-15 years. It must be noted though that it is vital that the render is coated with a limewash as this preserves the integrity of the whole render system. Masonry paints MUST not be used as they will compromise the system.
