Vivus Solutions is a unique system that requires installation in a professional and particular manner. It cannot be applied by untrained staff who do not appreciate its subtle, but vital differences between ‘conventional NHL and cement renders’ and those of air lime and its associated aggregates.
 

Accredited installation companies will have to have one member of staff trained in each of the Vivus courses, i.e. one person who may have attended the Site Preparation, Preparation and ColorSec courses, whilst another may have attended the Pumping and Spraying courses. It is important that within each ‘application’ team that all the courses are represented as it is vital that each element of the process is undertaken correctly by trained individuals.
 

Once trained there will be a quality assurance (QA) / control system in place for each company / organisation whereby the first job will be supervised by trained Vivus staff. There will be random control site visits undertaken by Vivus Social to support the correct installation of Vivus products.
 

The rationale behind this ‘control / oversight’ is that the Vivus system is designed to be a long lasting and warrantied. Customers will be offered a 10 year building warranty and, with the correct maintenance, the system should last indefinitely. In order to provide these assurances with confidence, it is vital that the system is applied correctly.

 

Only accredited installers will have access to the Vivus materials for installation.
 

As accredited installers it would be expected that the expense of training would be recouped within 2-3 standard installations.
